Pros and Cons

The Pros

Because this is a cordless device, there is no need to worry about storing potentially hazardous gasoline around your home, and there is also no danger of cutting through extension cords, which can be a problem, associated with mains electric powered trimmers. The battery is capable of lasting for around 30 minutes of continuous operation, and is powerful enough to cope with some fairly thick branches.

The Cons

The only major downside to this device is that charging does take around 8 to 10 hours, so it really needs to be charged overnight.

This is a trimmer that certainly has a lot of advantages, and if you are looking to switch from a gas powered trimmer to a cordless trimmer, this is one that should definitely be on your shortlist. There is no loss of power compared to a gas powered trimmer, and you do not have to worry about cutting through or getting tangled up in extension cords. The appliance is also very quiet, and can be used early or late in the day without disturbing the neighbors. If you are worried that changing from gas to battery power will mean less cutting strength, don’t be, as this trimmer can handle some tough trimming jobs.
